Hello, my name is Jennika I am the artist behind Jens Aesthetics. I'm 22 years old, I am a full time caregiver and full time creative. A Capricorn from Oregon. I’m a dreamer and a survivor. Art has been my outlet for when I’m lost, when I’m numb and can’t makes sense of the situations around me. Art is how I express myself in the rawest form. My art is mainly inspired my the pain and suffering I had to endure as a child..Abused physically, sexually, mentally, and emotionally by both of my parents, their partners, family and friends. I’ve seen a lot of horrible things that still haunt me to this day. I was 10, almost 11 when I decided to run away from my home. For a whole decade I struggled immensely with my mental and physical health. I felt completely worthless and like I was a burden to everyone. I make art and speak out on tough topics to help others feel heard and not so alone. My goal with my art is not only releasing all my pain and making something beautiful, but hopefully giving someone else a piece of hope. Because even when you feel like the whole world is crashing down around you and everyone is against you; you are strong, you are worthy, you make a difference in my life and it does get better and you will get stronger.
